‚ÄčThis vehicle came to me after my dad overheard someone at work say their car had spent a year outside in Florida and someone had told them the oxidation on the paint was going to be tough to remove. I got the chance to work on it for a few hours and try and make an improvement.
Here's a side shot of the vehicle before in the sun, prior to washing. There is some swirling/marring, but nothing compared to the hood...
The hood scoop was severely oxidized, as well as the rest of the paint on the horizontal panels. We opted for a quick one-step polish approach to just bring back some life into the nearly 15 year old paint.
I tackled the trim while I was working as well, as it needed some attention.
Post wash. Here is the condition under my inspection light. Aside from the paint defects you can see there is zero gloss or luster to the paint due to the oxidation.
I was able to remove quite a bit of the oxidation and the lighter swirl marks.
Here is a side by side shot of the hood as I was working. The leftside has been polished, the right is untouched.
The windows had some water spots that I polished out as well.
Here are a couple of shots of the trim restoration in progress.
The paint wasn't perfect, but I was definitely able to breathe some life into it.

This Rav4 was brought to me to have a ceramic coating installed. The vehicle was in fantastic condition and just needed a thorough wash, decontamination, and very light polish to make the paint "pop" a bit more and to prep the surface for the installation of the coating.

There were a couple of small scratches that were also addressed during polishing. In addition to the coating the wheels were sealed to aid against brake dust buildup, the trim was treated and sealed, and the interior received a light vacuum and wipedown.

This A5 was in for an exterior refresh. It was a beautiful burgundy color and I wanted to bring out the flake and really clean up the wheels and exhaust to make them pop.

There were also some minor rock chips from highway driving that needed to be addressed.
These wheels were deep cleaned and given some protection to aid against the buildup of brake dust.
The exhaust tips were cleaned and polished to bring back some shine.
The paint had some wash-induced marring that just needed to be cleared up to really bring back the gloss. Paint correction is removing damage to the topmost layer of paint by leveling it - this produces a uniform appearance which makes paint look "wet" and glossy.
This paint looked a mile deep once it had been polished and sealed.
This German beauty now looks better than the day it was picked up. Contact me today to schedule a similar service for your ride.
